Who you are contracting with

This site is operated by The Tech Idea ("we", "us"). By using it you agree to these terms.

Your account

• You sign in through our identity service. Keep your credentials to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• Give us accurate details. Billing information you enter at checkout appears on the invoice we are required to issue.
• You may close your account at any time from your personal data page. Closing it ends your access to licences, downloads and subscriptions.
• We may suspend or close an account that is used to break these terms, to abuse other users, or to attack the service.

Licences and downloads

• Buying a product grants you a licence to use it — you do not acquire ownership of the software or its source.
• Each licence key carries an activation limit, shown on the licence itself. Do not share keys or work around that limit.
• Perpetual licences continue after purchase. Subscription licences run only while the subscription is active.
• You may not redistribute, resell, or publish our software or documentation without written permission.

Payment, subscriptions and refunds

• Prices are shown at checkout in the currency stated there, and are payable in advance.
• Payment is taken by our payment provider. Your order completes and your licences are issued once that provider confirms the payment.
• A subscription runs for the period you buy — a month or a year — and does not renew automatically: to continue after it ends, buy the next period. You can see and cancel your subscriptions under subscriptions.
• Unless you ask for immediate cancellation, access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Because our products are delivered digitally and licence keys are issued immediately, we cannot generally refund a completed purchase. If something does not work as described, contact support and we will put it right.

Community content

• You keep ownership of the posts, replies and reviews you write, and you grant us permission to display them on the site.
• Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that infringes somebody else's rights, and do not post other people's personal information.
• We may remove content that breaks these rules, and we may lock a discussion.
• If you delete your account, your posts and reviews remain but are shown as written by a deleted user, so the discussions others took part in stay readable.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the site and its downloads available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service — maintenance, hosting failures and outages at the services we depend on all happen. The software is provided as it is; to the fullest extent the law allows we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profit. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
